Did someone say we'll have St. Mary's next year? Usually takes us two years to get in that return game. I'd like to see it, though.

Yes, I overlooked this too, but for this past year's Bracketbusters release it stated this:

"As part of the agreement, all 13 of the BracketBusters home teams in televised games, as well as the remaining 58 home squads, will play a return game at the home facility of their opponent in November or December of the 2013-14 season."

So it looks like they want to close out any remaining commitments sooner than later for this round of games. So all these other games have been moved up a year. (of course except for Loyola from 2010!!)

10-4. That'll be a nice home game. With all the conference games and Anaheim considered, that'll be a pretty damn tough schedule.

Also, first tangible downside of the Big East reared its head yesterday as I realized that I probably won't be able to swing both Anaheim AND New York. Definitely going to New York.

Jeff Goodman just reported that the final team in the Anaheim Classic field is Cal-State Fullerton. That's a resounding THUD after the rumored other teams for that spot. Oy.

Yeah, that tourney just got crappier, I plan on being there though.

Even with CSU as the final game in that tournament, it's still going to be better than the Vegas Invitational.

Marquette - Top 25 team
Arizona State - Top 25 team
Creighton - Top 25 team
Miami and SDSU will have down years but they're still quality programs with good traditions.

Miami just nabbed the K St PG and there is no speculation that he may receive clearance to play right away. If so, Miami should still be strong.

With Doug back, I'm assuming our first game will either be College of Charleston, GW or Cal State Fullerton.
