Is it just me or did all four links take you to the same story?

Sorry about that - I fixed the links. Since I posted the original story from the Dayton paper, they updated the story to the link that LJ provided. The high school stats link is now correct (hopefully!) and is well worth checking out.

What my Dayton acquaintance told me was that Dayton really wanted this kid, even after signing a different PG yesterday. The idea was that Yates can play both guard positions, which may be exactly what we need.

Andre wants to be part of a team that will be on the national stage for years to come and picked CU for that reason. With the national pub we're getting and having a stud like Doug as the focal point, the trendline is way up.

Update on Yates. His HS team is 3-0 and he seems to be playing well so far.

Hawkins is also playing well and I saw a story somewhere about a ridiculous dunk that he made during one of their games. Almost sounded similar to the dunk by Roberts over AY at SJU.

This isn't about Yates, but is about his high school basketball team. It is a nice story about how sports and quality coaches can have a positive impact. After all the scandals recently, it was nice to read something like this.
