at Providence
Providence
at St Johns
St Johns
at Seton Hall
Seton Hall

That's uhm, a pretty big improvement. ...

2 divisions of 5? CU, Marquette, Xavier, Butler, DePaul. This would probably lower some of the travel costs for Marquette and Depaul.

I don't see division until/unless the BE goes to 12 or more teams.
So long Valley, hello big time.

Does anyone else think this move will raise season ticket prices? Demand will be a lot greater now, they can easily increase prices and sell even more tickets with this move.

Might not be a popular move but Creighton would be crazy not to raise ticket prices. Our home schedule got astronomically better.

So next year beyond that fine conference list, we also have:

Alcorn (pretty sure that's the SWAC that agreed to put off one year so we could get N Texas)
Nebraska
Cal-Berkley
Tulsa
@ St. Joe's
@ Loyola
@Long Beach
Anaheim event (3 games count as 1 for max scheduling)

I THINK that only leaves room for 1 more home game. That is likely a buy cupcake. Maybe we can just buy our way out of those BB return games. That's too many roadies next year.

Just depends what they think the market will bear. Personally I don't see that upper bowl being full if prices go up much at all, at least all at once. I think it's more likely you will see them slowly ramp up season ticket prices, while maybe charging a premium single-game price for the big games like Georgetown and Marquette. You risk pissing people off doing that until you get some rivalries firmly established, though.

IMO – I agree that CU may raise prices just because its time to raise prices, admittedly I don't know when the last ticket increase was. However, I don't see any increase as being substantial if it were to happen.
What I would suspect is that the athletic department appeals to the lower bowl ticketholder for an increased annual "donation" to maintain the preferred seating. The practice is common in many packed venues and when you can't just charge your core group of rabid supporters willing to come down in droves out of the building, its likely they "ask" those who we'd most all agree, have the better seats to offer a little more as a first option.
Especially now, with the current excitement, a team / program worth paying to see, and better competition soon to be visiting the CLink on a regular basis I can see them asking this group to pony up a bit more first. I've read much criticism of the corporate or country club set in the lower level, which is fine as its harmless and I'm sure not in the high end group, but I am certain this group pays a lot of money for the right to receive that criticism, that helps keep my upper level seats affordable..As they are normally the first resource the University seeks dollar increase requests from.

Prices were increased last year. I think they will stay the same this year in an attempt to sell more season tix from the upper bowl.
