Haldeman first got my attention by showing a tremendous amount of activity at the start of the Barnstormers 8 a.m. game. That activity eventually turned into points and other stats as Haldeman seemed to have a hand in most plays while he was on the floor. A tough guard that isn’t afraid of contact, Haldeman finished at the rim and also spaced the floor to let his big men operate on the interior.
Loved the way Haldeman played early in a Barnstormers win. The sophomore guard consistently knocked down perimeter shots, including 4 three-pointers, penetrated the lane with strong and quick moves, and got deflections defensively that led to transition points for himself or teammates. Haldeman wound up with 26 points, helping the Barnstormers to a big Day 2 victory.
