I agree.

btw, Marcus bought in early on women's hoops. Check him out at the bottom of the screen on LJ's game winner against Iowa. Hilarious.

Loved the video of the A.D. filling in on the scout team, but it made wonder if these practice players were not able to simulate the ball pressure that UCONN put on or if the Team also did not handle it well in practice.

Need a strong finish to avoid being bounced by GT two straight years.

Phew. LJ takeover + "pick 6" by Mal and some clutch FT shooting by Kiani helps Creighton pull their biggest comeback of the season. GT didnt have a FG for the final 5:42

Pretty brutal foul by Georgetown with 4 seconds left. Player appeared to lose track of fouls or the score.

This year's edition of Creighton v Seton Hall in the BET is official. I think this is 5 straight years. Seton Hall had to come from behind to take down Xavier. Xavier had been leading until the final 2 minutes but got outscored 17-2 in the 4th.

No need for a comeback against Seton Hall. Dominant performance to set up a third meeting with UConn. First Big East Tourney final appearance for this senior class, and first for the program since 2016.

The Creighton women's basketball team takes down Seton Hall and heads to the Big East Championship game on Monday night against UConn

Matt DeMarinis reports from the Big East tournament.

Kind of feels like the Jays will never be able to compete with UConn women. There is a sizable gap between Creighton and the rest of the league, but just as sizable between UConn and the Jays. Such a bummer with how good this group has been for four years.

Exactly my thought. That game not too long ago where we played them even right down to the final possession--in Storrs--seems like a century ago. I imagine this is really dispiriting for everyone in the program. I wonder if we'd at least be more competitive if we could have kept Emma Ronsiek, and I wonder too whether we tried to bring her sister here, instead of seeing Emma leave to join her sister at Colo St. Emma's having a great year and Hannah looks like she's really good too.
