Glen Sisk has done a great job in rolling out and hosting the "Behind the Culture" podcasts with Flan. The most recent episode includes an extended segment on Flan's thoughts on roster size, and reasons he has limited roster to 10 or 11, as opposed to using all 15 scholarships. Discussion starts at about 12 minute mark.

Another 20-win season, with 3 losses to 10 top programs, and an opening away
game at SDS (NET 43)

Villanova was a trap game but won going away.
Also Coach Flan Birthday

Good job Ladies and Coaches.

No game story today. The OWH gives way too much coverage to Huskers. NET below Creighton.

People need to complain.

UConn hammers #4 South Carolina on the road. No shame in dropping that game at CHI last month.

Definitely no shame in losing that game to UConn. What did we lose by, 10, if I recall correctly? We shot poorly that game but still played great defense. And it was a fantastic crowd and atmosphere. Also, after UConn killed South Carolina on the road to end South Carolina's 71 game home-winning streak, I saw on the ESPN ticker that UConn is now favored per Vegas to win the national championship. So Flan and the team are doing something right if we can compete that well with the national championship favorite. Let's hope the Jays can beat UConn on the road or in the Big East tournament. Time to make another deep run!

Moved up to #23. UConn up to #5 after their win against South Carolina.

Going to need a strong finish to avoid a bad loss. Down 5 heading into the 4th. Everytime Creighton has found some momentum, St John's has responded on the other end.

Edit: Jays had been cold in 2nd half from 3 but got a run of 3s from Maly, Jensen, and Mogensen. They also finally contained Dwyer in the 4th and were able to pull away for the win. This locks up a top 2 finish in the Big East for Creighton.

Here's my St, John's gamer from Sokol. Focused on Creighton locking down on defense in the last four minutes, Morgan Maly playing through pain to take over and CU's home success this season with one game at Sokol remaining.

Not only got a run of 3s and got hot, but wow Jensen was clutch with her go ahead three to put it at 61-60 and then her clutch drive after that. Great win. St. John's has had lots of one possession games, so they are better than people might think and give them credit for. We have locked in 2nd like you say, but we also keep pace with UConn who we have a rematch with next week for first place at their place!
