This might be a ridiculous notion at this stage of “amateur athletics”. Since it’s the end of the academic semester, could it be related to academic ineligibility?

The grades aren’t out yet. They have until tomorrow to submit and even then there could be delays.

If they wind up being academically ineligible then the team staff has known about it for ages. They’re incredibly involved with the education side throughout the semester.

All this current speculation notwithstanding, both seemingly ‘left the team’ prior to Pop Isaac’s injury.

With Knox, it appears that limited PT may be part of the issue. More PT @ the SG is now available. What is the likelihood of Knox reconsidering his current stance? In his limited on-court time, he was productive and looked to contribute offensively - unlike others whose on-court production/on-court time is timid & spartan. Davis doesn’t appear ready for increased PT.??

Knox was still 1-2 injuries away from playing time before he quit

I’m going to assume you haven’t watched any of the games if your takeaway is that Knox has looked productive and Davis doesn’t look ready for more PT. That’s one of the most absurd things I’ve read in some time.

Too bad n Johnson, also Knox but with how thin our guard rotation is and they couldn't find a spot...it's telling.

Rumor is Knox messed up somewhere along the way too.

They’re both gone, we need to just deal with it.

A&M gets a nice win over Purdue. Might help us a bit in the computer models

7-4 non con. Below expectations but not a disaster. Four games against the present Top 25 and a 1-3 record. Not good but not horrible. The one horrible loss is Nebbie. They will end up mid-Tier B1g at the very best and likely behind us in the computer rankings.

This team must win 13 regular season games minimum and a game+ in MSG. 12-8 or worse and no NCAA IMO. Based on the jacked up portal timing at that point I would be inclined to pull a Pitino and skip the Not In Tournament and hit the portal hard instead.

Rebounding stats from our PF's
Jackson 4.2 per game, 17.8 minutes, 9.4 per 40 minutes
Traudt, 3.4 per game, 16.5 minutes, 8.2 per 40 minutes
Green, 2.2 per game, 13.5 minutes, 6.5 per 40 minutes
Miller, 2.2 per game, 13.9 minutes, 6.3 per 40 minutes.
Our eyes can sometimes play tricks on us.
