Wrightsell Jr. apparently has an achilles tendon injury from the Oregon game, and word from Bama fans I know is they believe it is torn. Hate to see that for the young man. Bama is still going to be good, but that does hurt them.

Creighton received 12 votes in today's A.P. poll.

Future/prior Creighton opponents:
Kansas #1
Marquette #5
Purdue #8 (exhibition)
Alabama #10
San Diego State #24
UConn #25

Other things that interested me: Drake getting more votes than West Virginia (Devries relevant); Nebraska getting more votes than Creighton (that is a nightmare); UConn staying in the Top 25; DePaul getting a few votes.

Jays are in Lunardi's "first four out" today, and 71 on his S-curve. A little more generous than I expected given their start.

New season starts today. Wishing Pop all the best with his recovery - if you have to have season-ending surgery at least he played possibly his best college game leading us to a win over KU w/ 27 pts.

Slide Jamiya to the 2 and right now your backup guard situation is Davis and Thomas. Ashworth may average over 40 min this year :D. Fedor shores up the backcourt if we can get him cleared.

For the 3/4, put out 2 of the 4 of Miller, Green, Traudt, McAndrew. Saw good and bad flashes from all of them on Wed. Should be okay if there’s improvement there.

Kalk and King are settled into their roles.

Need this UNLV win then will chalk the Alabama game as a loss. Luckily, December is lighter to start BE play @Gtown, Nova, StJ. Then, things get brutal in January. So, we have a month to gel with this new lineup.

Hoping for a Top 5 BE finish 12-8, 19-12 overall and a
win in the BET to get into the tourney and then just let the dice roll.

Watching R2 slice and dice Kentucky. He has improved since his Creighton days. Their offense hums primarily because of him.
