One of the bright spots from the SDSU loss was another strong performance from Kiani Lockett.

Post play has been an issue with the Jays for years. Not being able to guard the post. Morgan does a good job but I think the pounding wears her out. Not having a true good post big post is a liability and losing Emma is a big loss.

Last good post was Bri Robinson and she was undersized, as all of Jays posts are.

Not getting post points makes the outside shooting crucial. The Drake Center was an example.... 18-14 tonite....... imagine we got that with shooters!

I'm not certain why molly M. doesn't shoot more or drive more........

Kianna Lockett gave them good minutes and decent shooter...

The D2 post ..... juries out

NIL money wins right now..... Creighton has the intangibles and academic rep and Big east draw..... but CU WBB NIL is probably a handicap.... I would wonder about lower lever D1 centers, but we have never recruited them, and I guess they go where the NIL goes

However, CU WBB has been top 25 RPI for years, has great girls, and gets to the NCAA. But the home court NCAA (not neutral) makes them mostly 1 and done

Just Random thoughts......

Jays got absolutely manhandled by K-State tonight, especially in the post.

Thankfully we won't face many 7th-year (not an exaggeration) 6-foot-6 4X First-Team All-Conference players this year, who also happen to own the NCAA single-game scoring record.

I wrote about LJ, Molly's 4th quarter and Mallory's 3-pointer if anybody wants to focus on the good from Friday.
