About as unimpressive coaching job as I’ve seen from Mac.

It shouldn’t be that easy for Kalk to totally disappear. Underwhelming defensive performance as well.

We have 2 undersized guards with no one behind them.

A solid 3 who is forced to be more of a ball handler than he should be b/c of the issue at guard

4 guys at the 4 who can't really do anything outside of the freshman apparently

A great center with a 3 year backup who is basically unplayable

On top of all the above, even with Ash, our ball movement was horrendous today and it was obvious even against bad competition the last couple of games that we have a serious problem with dribbling and passing. Now with Ash out at least 3 weeks (my assumption based on severe ankle sprain), I see BIG problems getting ball to open guy.

Pop is really a liability on defense, and a high volume shooter, who had some seriously bad shooting games last year, and he will have some really bad shooting games with Ash out and needing to shoot more from outside and pressing shots. We will see him score over 20 many times, but usually not effectively.

Kalkbrenner will be doubled every game now, especially since we don’t have good ball handlers or able to get ball to him with double teams. Tonight was definitely not an aberration in this regard.

Traudt and Miller are collectively pretty worthless.

McAndrew will keep getting better and be a bright spot, but we will really need Zugic to get eligible as I don’t see where enough points will come.

Otherwise bench is very weak. I would have Johnson play if Ash is out for long.

Neal is going to be there for tough defense, rebounding and transition buckets. LJ would also be good on transition (do I even need to remind that he is listed as having 42 inch vertical jump).

With Ash out, the stretch of tough games is not going to be pretty.

We will see what happens next week, but I am not expecting more than one win.

Yep, Mac is a great coach but sometimes it would be nice to see him have a little bit more I don't know intensity hardness east coast attitude don't know the right word, however that is not his style though.

We all want Dan Hurley, we just don't want to admit it.

One positive. Jackson is a gamer. I think he is our next star.

I hate the guy's personality, but he wins championships. Greg hasn't even won...
- An outright BE regular season title
- A Big East tournament championship
- An Elite 8 Game

I guess Greg is more classy? IDK

Yep to talented to keep on the bench, he will be playing 35 minutes a game by the end of the year.

Mac got worked.

I don't even understand what the game plan was tonight. Or why it wasn't get the ball to kalk early and often. He should have had 30 tonight.

The roster construction is concerning.

If we can't hit threes, we're not going to win.

I'm simply lost WRT our PF spot. Jackson starting the second half was something. And at this point we should go all in on him. IT grips during games. And I'm at a total loss as to how Green goes from an emerging star at end of last season tona guy who is totally lost right now.

Everything tonight was bad, and it might get a lot worse in Vegas and beyond
