I'm not sure I agree...they still have to plan Nebraska (@PSU)...if Nebraska spanks them on the road, we still have a chance with our RPI

Penn State would be 28-3 with top-25 wins over Purdue (2x), USC, Minnesota, Oregon, Kentucky and Louisville with losses to Pitt, Nebraska and Wisconsin (all top-10 teams).

Creighton will be 29-2 with top-25 wins over Missouri, USC, Purdue and Kansas and losses to Nebraska and Louisville (both top 5).

Creighton is currently 4, PSU 6 in the RPI. We'll see how that changes over the last week and a half.

Penn State is 4th in unofficial RPI after last night with Creighton at #5. Margins between 4-7 are very small and could very well change tonight. FWIW the VT poster who does RPI futures said Creighton is projected to finish #4 with Big East tournament wins added in (that is also with Stanford and Penn State both losing 1 more).

I agree with Wizard of Westroads though. Really needed Purdue to go 1-1 so Penn State wouldn't have the advantage in both common opponents and significant wins over Creighton. Hopefully Kansas can crack the top 10 but right now Creighton doesn't have any top 10 wins and PSU has 2. Creighton was ahead of Penn State in RPI for the mid-season reveal and ended up 3 spots behind them.

Big East tournament field is set. Jays get the winner of DePaul/St John's at 2:30 on Friday. Marquette gets the winner of UConn/Nova.

Creighton Volleyball finished the Big East regular season undefeated cruising over Xavier in the season finale.

Creighton is #6 in both RPI and KPI heading into the final week. Not much of note besides Rice getting reverse swept out of their conference tournament semis yesterday and Mizzou taking a bad loss to Mississippi State today. NC State lost in 5 to SMU on Friday. They get another crack at them this week but they will be on the road for round 2.

What a dominate conference season. 54-3 in sets. Probably less than 10 of those made it into the 20s. The team clearly set a goal to not let any matches slip away, like the random ones have the in past. Excited for the BET at Sokol this weekend.
