Pitino not happy with the refs, either. Watching the game, wasn't sure why the refs went to the monitor before the last 2 FTs by Johnies but, apparently, Drew told refs someone elbowed one of his players so they went to the monitor to look. There was no elbow but Drew got to ice the SJU free throw shooter without using a timeout.
The other issue Pitino brought up was the clock at the end of the game...I didn't notice in real time but when Baylor rebounded the second miss, the clock didn't start right away. In fact, it looked like almost a second delay, which would have not left enough time for the game winning shot.
