Final Four are bust this year. I like are chances of getting there.

A few thoughts:

Jackson is going to be really good and will be hard to keep out of the starting lineup this year in my humble opinion.

Traudt is much improved.

Concern: Is King going to be able to give Kalk some reliable backup minutes or can Traudt fill in when necessary at the 5.

Concern: Who is are backup guard/wing off the bench?

Go Jays. !!!

My standout player of the game is split between Jackson and Neal. Jackson is going to be a great player for the Jays. Jackson has a smooth shot that he gets off very quick. Neal has surprised me with his transition game and how smart he plays along with his passing.

Neal’s stat stuffing would make Baylor Scheierman and Grant Gibbs proud - our two stat stuffers from recent memory. If he keeps doing that and D’ing up the other team’s scoring stud he will make you forget the name of Brice Nengsu!

Miller with a DNP: Was this coaches decision or was he hurt?

Don’t think he dressed for the game. Still hurt.

CU improved to 35 in Kenpom defense after being as low as the high 50’s a few days ago.

Let’s keep that improvement going.

I get that these are against middle school level competition — but they had another one by 80ish earlier this year too. That’s crazy.

A college named after Calvary? Sounds like a cheerful place. (Was Golgotha A&M taken)?

I'd never heard of Calvary (the university, that is), so I looked them up. They're in Kansas City, they have 350 undergrads, the largest employer of Calvary graduates is Walmart, and ten years after graduation, the average alum is making $39k. And, of course, they held UMKC to within 100.
