On CBSSports.com they have a highlight video. Kalk with the strong moves downlow. A dunk by Fred, Kalk's block at the rim. All the normal items. Then a nice little note about the new all-time coaching record at Creighton by Doug McDermott.
I don't know if Ras was in charge of the highlights, but it nice to know coach has spent 15 years and all people can remember is Doug. Even before he was announced as the new Head Coach

Congratulations Coach... Greg McDermott

Weird game with the starters only playing about 22 minutes or so. Kalk, Ashworth and Neal look great. Isaacs looks very solid as well. He was more comfortable yesterday.

The 4 spot is going to be a problem for this team against higher level competition. Traudt can really shoot the rock but is a bit of a defensive liability. McAndrew has the highest ceiling by far but is still learning and probably not quite ready for prime time. We know what we get with Miller which is…rebounding and not much else.

I think the guard depth in this team is actually the best we’ve had in a while. Thomas, Davis and Knox all appear to be serviceable and should give us good spot minutes throughout the year. That isn’t something we’ve always had.

My standout player of the game goes to Ash. For awhile, it appeared he might get 20 rebounds. Ash and Kalk appear to have raised their game on the offensive end. Even though Jackson went 0 for 7, he looks like another future great player for the Jays. Competition raises a bit starting Saturday with our game vs KC.

At this point, I feel like it's on purpose. Between their announcers butchering player names (Looking at you, Lappas) or their media team confusing a player from 10 years ago with his coach, their entire production is so low value. I loathe when we play on CBSSN, because there's a very good chance that Pete Gillen is going to actively root against us while calling the game.

The bias is way worse than the anti-Big East slant from ESPN.

Good news is, no more CBS/CBSSN games after this year.

Though knock on wood because Turner hasn't announced who their crews will be for Big East games...

Hope we have more than a few in March and April.

At least for those, CBS will have their A Teams in there, and not the flunkies who do absolutely no homework before a game.

Here's my gamer touching on Mac's milestone, the massive run to take control and overal defensive performance and Steven Ashowrth's terrific start to the season.

FWIW, HCU only trailed Texas by 7 at halftime (42-35) in their previous game before the Longhorns doubled them up in the second half.
