Houston Christian Game Thread

Here's the Pregame Primer for the Huskies. They're similar to UTRGV in that they're small and will use a five-out lineup offensively -- 58.8% of their shots have been threes through two games. I'm very curious to see if they opt to double and send help defenders on Kalk tonight, or try to defend him straight-up like UTRGV did.

HCU gave Texas a game for awhile on Friday, trailing by just seven at the half before a 24-2 Longhorn run broke the game open in the second. If the threes are falling they can compete; they made 10 of them in Austin.

Appreciate the write up Tom. I’m sitting in Argentina, just remembered that there was a game tonight and was trying to find a solid preview. I knew I could count on you!

Loved this stat:
only four power conference schools have ever had two consecutive coaches each win 300+ games: Kansas (Roy Williams and Bill Self), Michigan State (Jud Heathcoat and Tom Izzo), Purdue (Gene Keady and Matt Painter) — and Creighton. That’s it. That’s the list.

Crazy how good we have it right now!!!

I’m looking for something solidly positive out of our 4s tonight. To say they’ve been underwhelming thus far is charitable.

To be expected I guess with an 8pm cold and wet Wednesday tip, but it’s like church in here
