This is from the WBB thread, doesn't seem like they're getting the money. They ended up taking a couple of D2 transfers.

“Honestly, we shot for some Division I transfers and we couldn’t touch ’em,” Flanery said Oct. 2. “The going rate is — I don’t know what it is, but we couldn’t touch some of the transfers we thought we could get.”

Are you for real? Women's basketball is exploding in popularity right now across the country - way more than college soccer. Not even comparable. And Creighton is inarguably more consistent in WBB too, at this point.

Not exactly sure why you are pitting them against each other, but investing in a growing branch of a sport seems wise to me.

How about wanting all CU sports to do well ???... Nebraska is a VB meeca, and we rarely recruit NE WBB players, but WBB and WVB do pretty darn good on the national scene, and maybe WSoc can add to it.

Good teams brings support..... I go to all 3 and have season Txs....

I couldn't agree more, especially as an alum

One little addition. WBB is on the downswing in NE because of VB. Many HS teams are struggling to get girls to even participate to fill a team beyond the largest schools.
