No floor time for RS freshman Sterling Knox

But walkon Shane Thomas getting minutes.

McAdndrew can really shoot it. Like his confidence.

Great win.

Finishing with our second team against their starters was a great move by Mac to build confidence and team esprit

Pop was amazing. Great shooter and good from three. Six assists versus three TOs.

Loved what I saw from Pop Isaacs. I don't expect him to shoot 4-5 from 3 every game, but he did a lot of other things well. Played under control, made some great assists, and made several little jumpers in the lane. Need to cut down on the travels though. Neal also looked good. Love his rebounding, ball handling, and energy. And Ashworth looks like he is ready to be the leader (along with Kalk) for this team.

Biggest weakness: perimeter D and stopping the midrange shots from the FT line.

Good overall game, and don’t forget that is the #14 team in the nation.

Still think this was by far the best exh crowd I have ever seen. Nearly all stayed all the way to the end and actually got into the game.

That game was a lot of fun to watch! Our offense just reloads and moves on. D needs some definite work.

Nice to have a game like that to watch with no stress about winning or losing. I too loved the move to let the second team finish out the game. Mac said he didn't care about the outcome at that point either but was very pleased they held on to win.

Mac mentioned that LJ tweaked his knee and that he might red shirt.

Deepest team I can remember in Creighton History. Do we miss Baylor and trey...yes. But these freshman are players.Davis looks like he has a motor. Excited to win against a Big 10 favorite and very good PG. Cant wait to see Fedor...

Nice win against a solid team. Kalk looked the exact same, Ash looked a step faster, King solid, Green was a bit off (he shines against No 1 UConn and in the Big Dance ) but the new guys showed a lot of promise. Hard to believe Mac has them gelling like that after only a summer of practice?!? Great job by the coaches and trainers. Jackson was great but my biggest surprise was POP. Wow! What a slasher! He’s going to be a star. Reminds me of Devin Carter. Going to be a fun year.
At Creighton Bob Gibson majored in sociology and starred in Basketball and Baseball. In 1957 Gibson received a $3,000 sign-on bonus with St. Louis Cardinals, but delayed his HOF Cards career a year to play pro B-ball with the Harlem Globetrotters.
