I agree with him, but the Mike Miller comp is wrong for a couple reasons. I almost think Greer would play a role on this year's squad with his size and shooting.

Can't say I watched Miller in college, but curious to hear what those reasons are? He was much more well-rounded of a player in college than he became known for in the NBA. 6'8" wing who could dribble, pass, shoot and rebound with good athleticism — which is what Creighton is hoping to get with Greer I'm sure.

Wow, Greer was fantastic. They say he started slow and was 0-4 from 3 which I didn’t see but he lit it up while I watched and was named player of the game with 23 points and 5 boards. He was 5-5 from 3 while I watched and many were deep. He hit a tough baseline 15 footer with a guy in his face and a flush on a fast break. Also had a blocked shot on a guy straight up driving at him.

He has a lot of work to do on the defensive end as he bit on about every ball fake by his guy but the offense is excellent.

Yeah, I’m not getting this criticism of the comp either. I like it. Mike was sneaky athletic like Greer. He had size and was a sniper shooter to the tune of being a lottery pick. And the “play a role” immediately comment suggests Mike wasn’t a contributor early in his career. He averaged 12 points per game as a freshman on a very talented Florida team.

17 points isn't that impressive for such a highly ranked recruit.

Should we be looking at other options to replace Hudson? Any overseas players who can actually become eligible?

(Sorry, I'm caught up in the overreactions to microscopic sample sizes from other threads. 8-) )
