I too was worried by the initial reports because it sounded like A LOT to cram into a design.

I wrote this on Twitter, too, but speaking as a designer for a sec (since that's my day job), hiding easter eggs in a design is easy -- doing it well is hard. It can feel forced, or too clever by half. This looks really good and is smartly executed, though. I like it. Nice work.

I was worried, but I think it looks nice. Subtle but also unique.

Jacob, thanks for the analysis of Pop Isaac’s game:

I was most relieved that you felt that he was a competent defender. I continue to worry a bit about having 2 small guards.

I'd classify him as a willing defender with limitations, and I don't love how those limitations overlap with Ashworth's. However, a lot of what I saw was likely impacted by the injury (I didn't watch all of his freshman year defensive possessions like I did on offense), so perhaps there's some upside still there. There's also that tall guy hanging out behind them in the paint to help cover up for any mistakes.

I continue to think this is a weird roster that doesn't quite fit together perfectly on paper, but McDermott has proven he can make different kinds of lineups work and I do like that talent.

Creighton at 16 in the CSM, 3rd in the BE. Purdue comes in a spot ahead at 15. Marquette will be #2. I know they have a lot back but Kolek was the straw that stirred and Igadoro was a big loss too.

I talked to Fedor during Creighton's local media day. No insight on a timeline for eligibility, but I enjoyed the conversation.
