Big picture I have a hard time getting as worked up about high school kids with the current NIL / free agent environment we're in.

I absolutely want Riebe to commit, BUT

It is the biggest decision of his life that could have long term impacts we don't appreciate. Fit, coaching / development, teammates all will determine whether he reaches his potential and reaches his goal of NBA.

Think about it this way, we're tired of a high school kid not making a decision about where he's going to play 1 year from now. We haven't even seen last years recruits in a real environment yet and won't for several weeks.

Go Jays

Well the UConn board is acting like Reibe is theirs. Anyone know if this is legit or them getting high on their own supply?

My “source” who is close to the Jays program says he is UConn bound. I will say he has been wrong before but he seems pretty sure about this one.

He was also sure that Larry johnson was going to Va Tech so take that what it is worth.

Would prefer CU wait for the portal for a center than use a scholie on a flyer in this NIL world.

We can’t have 13 dudes though. That is wasted money on the guys that end up getting Lawsonesque PT and slink out after one season.

I’d rather have 10 dudes and 3 flyers - one guard, one forward, and one center. Tell them they’re in the big time and their immediate job is to work their asses off in the weight room and in practice, pay them 100 grand or whatever baseline there is for that, and see what happens.

Where are we at with A'mare Bynum? Would love to keep the Omaha pipeline flowing.
