On Friday night Creighton Volleyball opened their season with a bang, sweeping NC State in front of the 3rd largest crowd in DJ Sokol Arena history.

I was not expecting that out of Jaya. She is awesome! Feels like her and Elise are game changers.

Ironically, Jaya moved to the right side because Elise transferred in at the middle. Win win.

I thought Maddy Bilinovic (Penn State transfer) was outstanding. She had absolutely perfect passes on the first few balls she handled, setting up easy kills. That set the tone for our fast start. I wasn't sure we needed to add anyone in the back row before the season started, but she is a baller.

That's what I was trying to say: she was a middle but Goetzinger came in, so she and her cannon arm moved to right. Yes, great job by KBB.

The three players who made their Creighton debuts last night played so well! I wasn't sure if Maddy would play since she was out for the Colorado State exhibition. It also seemed like they were leaning towards TeStrake at OPP since she started that match and played with the rest of the starters in set 4 of the blue-white exhibition.

Creighton Volleyball swept another opponent on Saturday when they faced Missouri. They go for the Bluejay Invitational championship on Sunday.
