Sign him up! Replace Francisco from Argentina with…. Francisco from Argentina!!
At Creighton Bob Gibson majored in sociology and starred in Basketball and Baseball. In 1957 Gibson received a $3,000 sign-on bonus with St. Louis Cardinals, but delayed his HOF Cards career a year to play pro B-ball with the Harlem Globetrotters.

Football would not be invited till 2031… right when th Big 12’s current media contract with Fox and ESPN ENDS. So it’s basically all sports EXCEPT football, which the Big 12 will ask for significant facilities upgrades for over the next 6 years. Big ask by the Big 12. Seems similar to what the ACC is having SMU do. Basically bend over and take it from a dying conference.

Last year I was a lot more worried about UCONN leaving. Now I’d be fine with it as long as we still get the same amount as our new contract. Would it change? Up (less teams to pay)? Down (loss of the top program)?

Never a dull offseason.

I hope their buyout is stifling.

UConn has as much chance of being a successful football program as the Beatles do having a reunion tour.

I say good riddance if UConn left the BEast. I never wanted a large public school that plays D-1 BCS football to join the BEast in the first place.
I will admit their Basketball program has done great things for the BEast.

I wouldn’t have Georgetown ahead of Nova but these guys do.

Seems a bit surprising with Eric Dixon back at VU. Dixon might well be first team preseason all BE.

One of the few things on my Christmas list is for Kalk to figure out how to dominate that guy when they face off this year.

Butler falls in a spot ahead of Georgetown at 72. I still can’t believe they won in Omaha.
