Impressions from the scrimmage:
1. The block is going to be outstanding. Kiara and Kentucky transfer Elise Goetzinger are a high-level combo at MB.
2. Redshirt freshman MB Jaya Johnson played opposite in the scrimmage and was unbelievably good. What an arm. I wonder if they're looking at using her to back up Des if she's struggling.
3. Penn State transfer libero Bilinovic is solid. Sydney struggled on serve receive, like she did against Louisville in last season's finale. She needs to get her confidence back.
4. Best depth ever, with 11 top 100 players on the roster. Might be best high-end talent too: Sis/Martin/Wait or Winters/Kloth/Dimke? This year's MBs tilts the scale in 2024's favor, imo.

Creighton volleyball was unanimously selected to win the Big East by conference coaches. Norah Sis was selected as preseason POTY for the third time. Kendra Wait (unanimous selection) and Ava Martin are also on the preseason All-Big East team.

They played two more sets, and CSU won them. Still a sweep in my book.
