Slow start today but TKN was able to finish pool undefeated after winning the 2nd and 3rd set. Arena was almost completely empty following a rain delay at the start of the 3rd set but it was rocking before that.

They will move into the round of 16 single-eliminaiton tournament now.

TKN will face Canada's Melissa Humana-Paredes and Brandie Wilkerson on Monday at 11 AM in the round of 16. Canada came in as the #5 overall team in the Olympic ranking system but they struggled in pool and landed in the "lucky losers" match which has set up a relatively early elimination match with the #2 and #5 seeded teams coming in.

That was really hard to watch. They didn't play well and everytime they got some momentum they would make a mistake like a serve or attack into the net or a trap set into the block. It's also unfortunate they got this draw as the #2 team since they might have been able to get away with their uncharacteristically sloppy play today against a lesser opponent.

Hadn't realized they were the youngest team in USA history. Rough day, got dominated at the net. Excited to see them in LA.
