Some here want relegate Ed to a figurehead. There’s no reason he can’t be base coach, teach fielding fundamentals, give insight on BE foes, etc. There’s a long list of ways he can contribute, besides just talking to the media.

Kingston was effusive in his praise for Ed's defense and teaching that.
Said he's very interested in learning that.

Did we get anyone out of the portal yet? I know it's early and we just hired the new coaches, but keeping track is hard since there isn't much coverage.

Mohl as pitching coach is official. Also hiring Mike Current for hitting/recruiting. Both were on Kingston's staff at Illinois State and South Florida. Current was also on his South Carolina staff as well.
