Jacob, that's good to know. I was bummed that Bronny was picked before Trey considering the stark differences in their respective body of work. That and nepotism irks me...

Best wishes to Trey, a great kid, really hope he makes the most of the 2 way deal and gets a lot of NBA time.

And just saying…he should have been picked before Bronny but life isn’t fair.

Outside the novelty of hearing your name called, there's not much difference between being picked in the last 10 picks and being a priority UDFA (they're both likely getting two-way contracts), and oftentimes players would prefer to go undrafted at that point so they can pick their situation.

99.99% of the time this is true. Bronny is the rare exception where the Lakers have already announced Bronny will be getting a guaranteed contract and will be on active roster to start the season.

Just saw Tristen Enaruna got picked up by the Celtics. Someone probably already said this somewhere so I’m sorry if it’s a repeat.

It's hard to explain and justify the expected 7 figure jersey sales at $250 a pop if he isn't on the roster. So that makes complete sense. That's his value to LAL.

Nuggets traded away their back-up point guard, Reggie Jackson. They may or may not re-sign Kentavious Caldwell Pope, another valued wing player. It is shaping up to be a legit pathway for a roster spot and playing time if Trey impresses in summer ball.

Going a bit too far down the rabbit hole, next year's NBA championship favorites will likely be the Celtics and Nuggets. Many will tout it as Jokic v. Tatum. But we know the real deal. It'll be Baylor vs. Trey.

Seems like KCP is more likely to get a bag elsewhere than return. That leaves them with 11 rosters spots spoken for prior to free agency.

Before we start talking about real playing time, Trey will first be competing against last year's backcourt draft picks, PG Jalen Pickett and SG/SF Julian Strawther. Strwather played 50 games and Pickett 27, but neither was able to carve out a real, steady rotation spot. Christian Braun would step into KCP's starting spot, Peyton Watson will probably be the first wing off the bench, then Denver will have to find a back-up point guard and another bench guard/wing, whether that be in free agency or hoping Pickett and/or Strawther take a big step forward in year two.

You just ruined my fantasy Baylor vs Trey NBA Finals championship matchup to pimp Julian Strawther?

Foe list.
