Trey not selected.

Crazy that second round was so early. Flipped it in to see last couple picks.

Hope Trey gets good FA deal and good situation

Trey needed a NBA superstar player dad that ran an NBA team then he would have been picked in the 2nd round NBA draft.

Best wishes to Trey, a great kid, really hope he makes the most of the 2 way deal and gets a lot of NBA time.

And just saying…he should have been picked before Bronny but life isn’t fair.

Players on two-way contracts will earn $559,782 in 2023/24, half of the rookie minimum.

Good for Trey

Maybe a dumb guy question, but why did Mac receive a call which then led him to tell Baylor to head to the viewing area to get the shot of him getting a call from Boston and then ultimately watching him get his name called? Did Mac have an intermediary type roll of some kind? Just curious.

Didn't ask specifically, but Mac mentioned he's friends with Brad Stevens. Could have been Brad tipping him off. Or they could have set it up with Baylor's agent to let Mac know when the call was coming so Baylor would be ready for it.

Outside the novelty of hearing your name called, there's not much difference between being picked in the last 10 picks and being a priority UDFA (they're both likely getting two-way contracts), and oftentimes players would prefer to go undrafted at that point so they can pick their situation.
