Updated story from Matt Norlander including more finalized details on tournament format. https://www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/news/nil-driven-las-vegas-college-basketball-event-set-with-alabama-vs-houston-among-marquee-matchups/
"All teams will be guaranteed to play three games. After two games in four-team bracket play, there will be standalone neutral-site games, including one championship game between the teams that went 2-0 in their respective brackets."

St John's is among the teams joining in 2025.

Oregon will be interesting with Couisnard and Dante both gone. That was 60 of their 73 points against us in the tourney right there.

Dana always finds a way and guys to do it.

They might wonder similar as Baylor and Trey had half our points...

I anticipate a tough game

Dana's MO at Oregon lately is struggle through the season and then peak in March. This might be a game that doesn't look great on the resume until March 1st and then we're thankful we played them in November and not March.

Apparently, the other game in our bracket is SDSU v Texas A&M. So, we may well be playing SDSU in the second game of the tournament

We'll see a couple more familiar faces with T.J. Bamba and Supreme Cook transferring there. Also added Stanford's second-best player and a Toledo transfer. Picked up a top-75 2024 recruit last week as well. Shelstad and Evans were pretty promising as freshmen as well.

Do I read this right we will play each team in our bracket for total of 3 games. Here is the website.

That’s how I read it…we will play all 3 teams.

Hmmm, CU giving the finger to the Bahamas event in favor of ANOTHER trip to Las Vegas may not look as good as it once did. This should be interesting.
