He had a steal on 1.9% of ASU's possessions a year ago, which would have led Creighton by a good amount -- and did it while only being whistled for about two fouls per 40 minutes. Two years ago in a smaller role it was 2.4%. So he seems to use his length and athleticism to disrupt opponents.

Took 32.0% of his shots at the rim a year ago (104 of his 325 attempts), and made 66.3% of those shots. Only 40.6% had an assist credited to them, meaning the rest were shots he created himself off the dribble.

Mediocre three-point shooter. But unlike, say, Johnathan Lawson who didn't do much else, Neal is a slasher who plays disruptive defense. Seems like a good add.

This is sort of my take as well. We lacked some physicality in getting to the rim and creating shots. I think he brings this while also adding defensive strength.

nice breakdown. reminds me a bit of a more slender Damien Jefferson - maybe won't mix it up inside as much, but can score in ways we don't usually score, can defend a lot of different types of opposing players and can probably switch onto about anyone on the court. Add in that he likely gets more assisted/better shots at the rim with our spacing.
