In addition to ChicagoJay’s point about Memphis being a good team; we certainly had a lot of intel on Memphis basketball and on Johnathon when we recruited him. Mason played with him. Ryan and Mike Miller undoubtedly knew him well.

Checking in on Lawson, looks like he is doing well at UA-Little Rock
Through 11 games, averaging around 36 minutes per game and 16 PPG including 44% on 3 pointers.
