Didn't know where to put this, but just got a call from the CU ticket office.

If you have any student priced tickets you may have to move sections or they will upgrade to adult ticket price.

Just an FYI.

They stated that they are going to send out an email correspondence as well.

I didn’t realize there was a child ticket or whatever you want to call it. So does it have a special QR Code so using it for your adult next door neighbor on occasion set off alarms?

No issues using them for an adult. Just intended to be a reduced price for seats usually used by youth. I got the same call today. Had to move it to the adult price, not a big deal. Moving to the new sections for youth seats would have been a big downgrade in seat location for me.

Yes, sorry youth priced ticket. I actually got mine back in college when I asked if they had a student discount for a UNO student, that is what they gave me. I since have had 3 kids and usually take one of them.

Same deal for me, I don't want to move after being a season-ticket holder for 16 years and getting to know the people that sit around us, plus the end would be a down-grade in our seats as well.

They basically stated that they have done research and this is what peer institutions are doing as well. Either way not a huge deal, as it will be around $120 more for the ticket for the whole season.

Back in 1977, I bought 2 general admission season tickets for a total of $50. At the time, kids 12 and under were free. I sat in section 49, front row most games but for big games, this section changed to reserved seating. The following year, section 49 changed to reserved for all games, but I kept those seats. In just a few years, those seats jumped to $420 for my family of 4 and I don't think they had child prices then for reserved seating.

Kids got into free at the Civic and I could sit in the aisle for 5 to 10 minutes before they kicked me out. Zagnuts and races around the arena in the upper 'bowl'- well the yellow section hallway
