With Kalk gone next year they will need to/likely will adjust the defense away from that

Agree. That 2021 team was pretty solid defensively (Kenpom 32) and while Kalkbrenner was playing he was only playing 13.8 minutes a game
One thing to think about is that Bishop had to expend a ton of energy to defend the way we did that year, so I can't imagine us having just 1 guy to play that small 5 spot (Bishop at his peak played 23.4 MPG for us, and Martin K the year prior played only 25.4 MPG)

William Kyle III would fit this mold perfectly. He is a bit bigger than CB (6’9 230 compared 6’7 220) and a better athlete (44 inch vert). Summit DPOY
