I am not sure the Big East is the best fit for Fidler. He loves to get to the line and the Big East just doesn't call fouls.

We take Fidler every day if he wants to come to Creighton.

He’s a proven scorer at the division 1 level, which is something we aren’t going to have much of next season. I don’t care what conference you play in, if you’re putting up 20+ points per game, we can find a spot.

Issue is he’s not coming to Creighton to come off the bench. I don’t think he’s a good enough athlete to defend in the BE. If he’s open for a bench role then I’d take him

Really up to the coaches, IMO. I think the concern is about whether he could guard BE level athletes. No doubt that he can shoot and has a great pure shot and soft touch and can score a few different ways and seems to be a pretty good passer as well. A few power conference opponents:

-7/15 against TCU and 3/6 from 3 PT,
- 5/11 against Texas Tech 1/4 from 3 PT

year before 1/8 against Nebraska, 2/5 against Iowa, 3/8 against Miss. State, 4/9 against Drake

So this year at least, looks like pretty good performances against higher conference teams. And CU's done great work in taking guys like Baylor and working on their strength and quickness

I do think that Miller will take a big step forward with more usage in our offense next year, but If the coaches think Fidler can fit in, by all means

99% of people here would take him. I’m a Bellevue guy so I want to see Fidler in the perfect fit for his last season. He for sure ain’t a depth piece wherever he goes. He has multiple $200k plus offers from Power 6 schools. Not sure how great of a fit he would be here with what we have coming back and in. He’d obviously start.
