The author of the article, Elizabeth Merrill, used to write for the World-Herald in the 1990's. She covered both the Nebraska and Creighton women's teams.

Congrats to Scheierman on being named to the AP All-America Third Team! Only the fourth Jay ever to be an AP All-American, joining Paul Silas, Kyle Korver, and, of course, Doug.

Kalk was Honorable Mention.

All 3 of those guys have had/are having awesome careers in the NBA. Pretty lofty company for sure.

Nice to see that the Aurora News Register was able to send their reporter to Detroit. And to Omaha on a regular basis. There's your local newspaper at work.

After putting together retrospectives on Trey and Kalk this week, I didn't want to leave Baylor out -- so here's a look back at his time as a Bluejay, with a six-minute highlight reel of some of his finest moments.

I've been out of town until last night. Any input on the Wed scrimmages for Baylor? I didn't see anything on how he performed. I did seem a snippet on Trey having a better outing.

He was solid again. Didn't get as many touches or shots or play as many minutes as the first scrimmage, but he didn't need to. Made a few really nice plays when he had the chance.
