Thanks for the insight! Thoughts on the Creighton's chances?

That's a lot of high major interest..hopefully we don't lose another guard to K-State. *coughfostercough*

I'm not 100 percent sure but being a blue fan and living in Columbia and knowing his family I was estatic when I talked to his dad and Creighton was in his top 5. But that's been several weeks so I'm not sure what the latest activity does to that list. I know travis played tonight, they won. He had 23 with 5 threes and missed only 2 shots. Also know his folks drove to Omaha for st Joseph game last week. Not sure what they thought. Haven't talked about that. Last I knew they were going for an official to bc next weekend, Creighton on unofficial for Tulsa game and k state on unofficial on 22. Not sure about k state date. Creighton has offered and I heard coach Mac is heading out to New Hampshire next week to watch travis. Lets hope!

No opinion, I keep up with Jorgy cause I really know his pops. Dont follow rockbridge basketball as much since travis left. I bet all the guards on rockbridge were glad travis left. More pt for them. Out in New Hampshire Jorgy is playing in a conference where they play college shot clock, college 3 point line and 20 min halves Plus he is teammates with noah vonleh, indiana signee and rivals numb 8. I'm pretty sure they have 3 kids on same team in rivals 150

Thanks for all the info Rick!

Travis seems like a tremendous player and would be a huge get for us!

Hopefully having a bluejay fan working from the inside can only help ;)

I'd love to get Travis on the team.

Interesting that K State is already looking for another PG after getting Michael Orris (remember him?). Sound like Orris is a huge bust down there. I suspect K State and Bruce Weber are in the process of squeezing him out -- something that if I were a recruit, I'd be worried about happening to me.

Creighton offers immediate playing time and a top tier education. Plus as we all know from driving to St Louis, Omaha is drivable from Columbia for mom and dad to see him play. Imagine their short jaunt to the MVC tournament each year!
"But I truly care about Creighton and the fans and what they've done for me the last three years. I want to give them one more year and take care of business in the Big East so we can prove people wrong.'' ---- Doug McDermott

Sorry, don't mean to be negative, but how do we offer immediate playing time? Isn't this the "Doug scholarship," which puts us up to 14 on the roster next year? So we're ready to say this guy pushes ahead of Isiah and Andre, neither of whom are getting substantial minutes this year? Is he going to push ahead of Austin, who is playing great and will be even better with a year of experience? I know recruiting is fun to follow and dream about getting top guys, but do we really want 14 guys on the roster? We're blessed with good team chemistry now, what happens when you have guys unhappy about their playing time? Or are we going to push somebody out, like Weber apparently is? I'd buy a 14th player if it's a some super-duper 5-star wing stud, but otherwise I love where we are.

I do agree it's a short drive and we offer a quality education! :P

Thank God wizard isn't on the staff.

The rest of us want you to be a Jay, Travis!
