Michigan Lance called in this morning and made fun of specifically that. Basically told Ravi he's been caught up in a game of Hokey Pokey with Damon.

+1 thought about this too. Was wondering what Blossom's email inbox looks like today after them talking about it for basically an hour on 590 this morning.

It’s been covered on all the shows on 1620 today as well

As an aside, I bet Damon Benning would appreciate not being referred to as DB. It’s his initials. I get it. But they are unfortunate initials. Certain people - like say, Stanley Thomas Davis or Hannah Olivia Evans - need the full name.

Thank you for your consideration.

I normally ignore you, Vivid. But a class post. I met Damon when his father was in the Heritage memory unit with my mother-in-law. The Bennings are class. And so are you tonight.
So long Valley, hello big time.

There is a board or trustees which I assume fulfill a similar role

DB said he's of the opinion Ted Carter would be all over Mac and would love to make that hire. Take that FWIW, since it's someone not involved with CU. But, you often hear coaches talk about how important leadership is when they want to go somewhere, and Carter seems to be well liked by everyone, which is the opposite of Hendrickson

Since when is Benning back on the radio again? He's on then he's off then he's on again? I can't keep track of this guy's decisions. I remember he was supposed to co-host with Ravi and then something changed - and that show then had a rotating crew of awful people in the second chair. Might have to start listening to their show again if they are settled in.

DB got a little burnt out and decided to step away when his contract ran out instead of signing an extension. Andrew Rogers stepped back in as his co-host, but Andrew is about to get married and decided to move back home to St. Louis. So Hurrdat made another run at getting DB back and after some time away he felt comfortable diving back in.

The morning show is back to Ravi and Damon moving forward.

Mac is tactful in everything he does. He's a special kind of coach. Deserves more credit than he has received so far, IMO.
