According to BluejayFan00’s summary, the guy has most of that right.

He never made a prediction that I recall. I do remember him saying he was hearing that ND had reached out to Mac and they had conversations. Much like what he's saying tonight regarding OSU

I find it hard to believe he would leave for tOSU or a WVU. A Arizona State or so cal school would be my worry

It’s a shame Lannon had to step back with his health issues, he was an incredible ambassador for the university and a true man for and with others. I don’t think we’re in this situation if he didn’t retire.

Arizona golf sucks during the coaching offseason. Summer golf in Arizona is miserably hot. When he retires, I could see Arizona as the destination of choice but don’t think ASU would be the golf and basketball package that would reel him in.

Don't know if this has already been posted, but from an ESPN+ article regarding the OSU opening listed Mac first.

"McDermott has guided Creighton to eight NCAA tournaments since taking over in 2010 and has won at least one tournament game in each of the past three, including last season's run to the Elite Eight. The Bluejays are back in the mix for a top-four seed on Selection Sunday, and there have been growing whispers that McDermott is willing to look around at other jobs this cycle"

The one to sweat is Arizona State. Mac would take that job and be okay with it. He can golf all year and move into a house he already owns .

Curry is a great follow, and he's really engaging in any Spaces he hosts. Some of the ones he did after the whole Goodman/Divine Providence doc were very entertaining. He's admittedly an A-10 guy and "some Big East," though he's pretty friendly with some of the larger Big East burner accounts. He's got a great tracker record from what I recall and he coined the term #SearchSZN. Most of the info he shares is not always necessarily predictions, but he does a great job shining a light on some lesser-known coaches around the country that should be looked at more closely. Pretty wide network of sources too.

IMO Trilly Donovan, Curry Sage Hicks, and Samurai Hoops are the three accounts you want to follow if you want solid info on the coaching carousel.

The growing whispers is the internet wonks quoting each other. There is little chance Mac allows any leaks if he is allowing his agent to field calls and there is little chance he is involved personally in any discussions while this season is progressing.

Social media is the devil.

The frustrating thing is that this is now going to be a distraction for the team going into the hardest stretch of the season
