Was introduced at the game last night by Ravi during one of the new "Jays Live" segments. Crowd seemed to actually be aware of recruiting and who he was and responded nicely. Hope he enjoyed the game, and guess since he's already committed and signed it doesn't matter that the atmosphere wasn't really great for last night's game.

I just read an article that named him as a choice for the McDonald's All-American game!! Is that a first for the Jays? Don't remember if that event was around when Benoit was a recruit.

For the record, yes, Benoit played in the McDonalds All Star game. He was considered the #1 center coming out of high school.
