My wife is a Hawkeye grad. Long ago she has been converted to Bluejay fandom but she still enjoys the Hawks beating the Skers in football!

Can’t wait for the Iowa game. I have so many friends that are Iowa fans. Hope we blow them out like we did last time in Des Moines.

Pretty stoked about our OOC schedule! KC and Stillwater aren’t exactly Hawaii and Vegas or Austin but I’ll take the chance at winning over locale and Bilas thank you very much.
At Creighton Bob Gibson majored in sociology and starred in Basketball and Baseball. In 1957 Gibson received a $3,000 sign-on bonus with St. Louis Cardinals, but delayed his HOF Cards career a year to play pro B-ball with the Harlem Globetrotters.

It’s crazy that this game has never happened before in the Gavitt Games. When they first announced the challenge I figured Creighton-Iowa would be one of the first games played.
"But I truly care about Creighton and the fans and what they've done for me the last three years. I want to give them one more year and take care of business in the Big East so we can prove people wrong.'' ---- Doug McDermott

This game was as supposed to happen 3 years ago before the Covid season cancelled the Gavitt Games that year.

Another game announced: neutral court game Dec. 13 in Henderson, NV against UNLV. Logical question is whether this is a one-off or if a neutral site game with UNLV somewhere in the midwest will follow in 2024, but no word on that yet.

Part of the same Jack Jones event that the Jays played in a year ago against BYU and Arizona State, but this time in suburban Henderson instead of in Vegas proper.
