So, as we speak today, 12 out of 13 scholarships filled?

By my count, this is correct:

Outgoing: R2, Ben, Reef, JC
Incoming: Dotzler, Ashworth, Traudt, Knox

and we go from 12 back up to 13 scholarships this year as the sanctions end.

Really like this pickup. He's got a lot of great traits, now it'll be a matter of reworking his shot, S&C, picking up the speed of the college game, etc. most likely in a redshirt season. Honestly, as great as we can do unless we could get a bench wing in the portal (and we still could with 1 scholie left to offer).
Way better than leaving a scholarship open - an open scholarship can't come in and play if we have a major injury.

Cool, it is nice to have guys that the staff can develop. I am assuming he knows that he ain't playing right away so hopefully he sticks around for a few years and waits for his turn.

I love big guards! Should be able to switch 1-3 and appears to be a fairly dynamic athlete. From the highlights I've seen his release is glacially slow, but if there's a staff that can improve shooting strokes its ours! Excited to see how he develops.

Would probably indicate he just hasn't gotten his paperwork sent in yet. They can't comment until he does. Wonder if they're planning a signing ceremony at his school or something like that.
