At one point a visit from this grad transfer to CU was reported then there was nothing so assumed it was off. This story continues to mention the Jays but I don’t know whether true or not.

I am going to guess that things might be slow until April 23 - the day when players need to declare for the draft (but can do so without losing their eligibility). All around the country teams (and players) are holding tight until they know who will/will not/may not be back (although anyone can enter the transfer portal until May 11). Still about 800 players still uncommitted in the portal. Lots of moves to come. Any players interested in being an important sub on a potential Final Four team?

I really think Sallis would be a good fit but he would have to come off the bench. I could see him as 6th man depending on Trey and Art's decisions. Just not sure if that's something Hunter will consider.

I wonder if Taran Armstrong could still be in play for Creighton? Weirder things have happened.

He would be a really good fit for the roster. He is a really strong defensive player who is a willing passer and who can get to the basket, but it's likely a bench role if Trey comes back after testing the NBA Eval.

But it could work for him also - Creighton's close to home, a top team who will give him exposure and competition in the toughest conference around, and we've also helped guys figure out their shot and work on their game, and CU's S&C is top notch as well.

Maybe from a development standpoint a 2 year plan to get to the NBA would work for him

@Helmzy we could use some good news about now to even things out a bit.

If Art ends up staying in the draft as expected, we need another wing. Can't go back to tiny 3 guard lineups (especially any 3-guard lineup with Farabello :? ) and probably can't confidently rely on Miller to hold up defensively at the 3 just yet. Vice sounds like more of a post player than a wing.

to me that chart seems to show that when players drop to a lower level of competition they play more and produce more. And, conversely, when they move up a level in competition they play less and produce less.

Hawkins and Baylor are good examples. They both moved way up in competition, and as a result played fewer minutes and had lower production, but still played really well for us

Did Hawk and Baylor really play significantly less? Both tended to play nearly the entire game. And AOC played a lot more minutes. Farabello probably less.

Feels like many of our transfers in, though, have played significant minutes as starters.
