Wing shooter who can knock down jumpers from the three point arc off catch and shoot or put it on the floor and pull-up from 15-17 feet off the move! He did show he has the bounce to finish with the flush at the rim too. He needs to add strength to finish versus contact and continue to reach his full potential that he showed scoring 22 points in the Best of Best game. Mid-up programs should take a look at him this spring and summer."

Looks taller, longer on film and has some nice ball skills. His shot on the older clips is kind of a push shot from his chest that probably needs to start higher. Looks like a nice development guy

well, both John and Modestas had surgeries that set them back, although the recruiting around them made it difficult for them to find minutes. I'd say that Modestas played pretty well last year at a lower level

A lot of it depends on why they are on the bench or redshirting. Some, like Miller, are guys who just needed more bulk and strength to take advantage of their skills (Patton was in this category also), I think Green can turn into a good player as well.

Some other ones are guys we took a chance on to see if they could develop - some turn out, others don't

The transfer portal makes it more unlikely that we look to develop someone for the long term as we don't want to get a guy who takes the time and then transfers immediately, but the coaches probably have a good sense of who might stay and of what they want longer term, and the RS guys are also probably a step up from most walk-ons on the scout team as well

That release needs a monstrous amount of work but seems like a pretty good athlete. Who knows, McBuckets was ranked around 300 or some such in his class.

This conversation reminded me of Modestas Kancleris’s “hype tape” where he missed a bunch of shots and clumsily ran around the court. Whoever put that out was no friend of MK.

Speaking of MK, looks like he was a rotational player. Had 20 points and 4 blocks against Texas A&M!! Impressive! (No corrections allowed here for those interested in pointing out it was A&M - Corpus Christi)

seem to remember meeting some of HIbma's family in St. Louis at the MVC tourney - great people

as for Knox, he's a developmental guy for a reason. He has a lot of the physical attributes (length and a frame to get stronger which he needs to do), runs the floor well, has a pretty good handle as well. He can make shots, but that push shot from the chest won't work in the BE, so he'd need time to rework that shot (but guys who can make shots with poor form usually have good enough hand eye coordination to rework their shot)

We don't exactly know how many slots we will have and at least one developmental guy might make perfect sense for the roster, there is only so many minutes to go around
