What's going to be interesting is seeing how coaches adapt to the fact that the SECOND transfer now is generally going to require sitting. If you go out and get guys who transfer after their first or second year, you have a much higher likelihood of holding onto them for the remainder of their eligibility, at least in theory. So your high school recruits could be gone in a year, transfers maybe not so much.

Not at this point, beyond Armstrong, McCollum and Perry including including CU on their lists. Just need to keep paying attention to list cut-downs and potential visits to gauge the mutual interest here. I'd anticipate things heating up here now that everyone knows Creighton has a starting backcourt spot to offer.
You're the man, thanks for answering. How would you rank them on the basis of being the best fit for what we need?

1. Baylor, Art, Ryan K. and Trey (BART) haven’t announced anything yet. Obviously, that’s better than the alternative. But what can we gather from this? Anything? You’d think if they were considering transferring, they’d get their name out there. More options. More leverage. Maybe I’m overstating this, but it gives me some hope. BART returning would make us a Top 10 team heading into 2023-2024.
2. Creighton is in a great spot to land a top PG portal replacement for R2. Premier destination. That’s positive. Other transfers looking for significant minutes would likely not commit to CU knowing BART are here. That’s a disadvantage.
3. In light of #2, and assuming BART returns, what portal candidates can be targeted that are willing to take on a supporting role? Can always use more shooting. Athletic depth. Depending on how staff feels about Dotzler, another PG to back up the TBD starting PG.

I tend to think 1 is true with respect to Trey, Baylor, and Kalk. But everything out there seems to suggest Art is going to Arizona -- if he's got his mind made up and they've already made him the offers (despite that being against the rules), no need for him to announce quicker.

I didn't realize there were credible rumors out there that Art is gone. That's too bad. One reason he might announce sooner if it's a done deal would be to be a good guy and put CU in a position to replace him more effectively. Don't delay the inevitable and don't make Bluejay recruiting that much more challenging. I guess he doesn't owe that to Creighton, but it'd be a decent thing to do. Here's hoping he is a good guy and is either still contemplating or may be returning. Dare to dream.
While not as big of a deal, it's nearly impossible to find another acronym for our returning players when the only vowel is leaving. That's another strike against Art in my book.
