Uh, except for the fact the staff really cares about the locker room and culture of the program.

There was A LOT of locker room drama surrounding Bates, both in high school and at Memphis.

Mac learned his lesson at Iowa St, I would be amazed if he brought in any locker room cancers. I’m not impressed by the TCU kid (not sure he is even in the portal?) I’m hoping for someone better (and bigger).

I like what I see from Farabello. His career assists/turnover ratio is 2/1 while Nembhard led the Jays at 1.4/1 last year.
His career 3 pt. % is 40% while Hawkins led the Jays at 36% last year.
This kid can pass and shoot and you can never have too many guards.

Coaches have choices when recruiting transfers. They can tell them that they will start or they can tell them that, although anything can happen, they will be role/bench players. Coaches can be truthful or tell the transfer what they want to hear. McDermott (I believe) is one of the coaches that levels with potential transfers. So, when he tells players that Creighton's starting 5 is fairly well set this coming season there are many transfers who will not come. No judgment. "Kids" want to start. So FF seems like a perfect pick-up - a role player who does several things well (that K State clip was impressive) and who will fit in with the team chemistry and be one of a productive 9-10 man rotation. And, if there are injuries actually could start.

That sounds nice. I wonder who we locked up. The eyeballs tell me it's a high level transfer.
