I see he only played in 8 games this year. Anyone know if he was injured? Or just stuck on the bench.

I am pretty sure he left the team during the season. I seem to recall he was no longer listed on the roster mid-season.

He either left or got kicked off the team. He wasn’t on the roster like half way through the season.

Ohio transfer Mark Sears another name to watch. One of the better players in the portal. Averaged 19.7 PTS, 6.0 REB, 4.1 AST as a sophomore, 44/41/89 shooting splits. 6’1” guard All-MAC 1st team.

Ohio transfer Mark Sears another name to watch. One of the better players in the portal. Averaged 19.7 PTS, 6.0 REB, 4.1 AST as a sophomore, 44/41/89 shooting splits. 6’1” guard All-MAC 1st team.

Those are tasty percentages. And a nose for rebounds to boot.

hearing King will visit in the coming weeks.

I would imagine after the final 4 we'll have an idea of who the main transfers we are going after. I am hearing positive vibes surrounding King, if we land him my guess is the priority is a bucket scoring wing/guard. There are still some players yet to hit the portal (UNC - Kerwin Walton) but I see the Jays prioritizing these 5 at the moment

So then the staff would seem to be sure someone is leaving then? If I am not mistaken we just have one scholarship at the moment. If so if we get King that would be it unless someone leaves and frees up another.

With approximately 1,000 transfers in the portal so far, it's a good sign that none of them are from Creighton. I'm hoping everyone sticks it out and no one transfers from Creighton.
