Factoid: 875 in the portal as of this morning, 113 from Power 6 conferences. That is a couple hundred less than last year at the same time.

NOOOOOOO! He’s a turnover machine, streaky shooter at best (moreso than AO) with poor career averages from 3, and culture killer with a helicopter dad and a “me first” attitude. And we have such a great culture going now, why risk it?! Go ask any fan base where he’s played.

Who are our favorite potential fits so far?

Said it before but I love Will Richard from Belmont. Still probably my #1 of guys we’ve reached out to. Tristen Newton seems like a stud he may be my #2. Sean McNeil and Ethan Wright seem like great fits. Still wait and see on the bigs personally but some intriguing options there–just doubt we get the same level of player that we do at wing since it’s a backup role we’re offering.

Obviously been said by many here but I’m super out on Erik Stevenson. I’m sure he’s got some talent but streaky shooter and questionable personality it sounds like. No thanks with the chemistry we got with this current group. Creighton has always had really strong team chemistry under Greg imo, but this group might be some of the strongest I’ve seen. The adversity they faced last year clearly brought them closer together.

I would love to get Frederick King to commit as a nice backup to Kalk for a year (or 2). If we land him AND still somehow have an open schollie (transfers out) I would love Richard. We would be stacked for a run next year!!!

Yeah, I'm out on Stevenson too....no amount of washing can get the stink of Wichita out of him.

Love the idea of a guy like King. Greg is so good at developing talented bigs just give him something to work with and I trust he'll get the most out of the guy.

King over Stevenson for sure... King would fill a glaring need. While not ideal, we've proven we can be a good team if we aren't shooting the three, particularly well.

You have to imagine that JC, Miller, and improvements from the other guys will help fill some of that gap. Would be nice to get a wing scorer in addition to King however.
