He's from Sioux Falls. I saw him play a couple of times this summer with SD Attack (the organization Matthew Mors played for). He played both 15U and 16U. Was pretty impressed with him; good mix of coordination and touch/skill for someone so tall at such a young age.

We may be out of contention for Layden. He cut his list to seven schools, and didn't include the Jays. However, he said in February that he is "definitely open to new schools".
