Creighton checking on one of the top guards in Texas--6'3'' Austin Grandstaff. Grandstaff plays at Rockwell HS with fellow 2015 Creighton target Elijah Thomas. Grandstaff is a swing guard who is more comfortable as a 2, but will likely be seen as a point for high major schools. Allowing him to play both at Creighton will be a huge selling point. The Jays have been in contact with Austin all summer, a summer which saw Grandstaff burst onto the AAU scene, collecting offers from Texas A&M, SMU, and Arizona.
