Hmmm, pretty sure Dawson was supposed to be here on that weekend. Soooooo, I'm going to guess that Dawson was moved up to this weekend and Thomas moved to the 22nd-23rd.

I haven't seen anything. Since he has not committed to Wichita yet, I would guess that he is still interested in Creighton and/or waiting to see what high major options he might have. The latter seems very likely.

Considering his Senior year transfer to Deion's HS, it is reasonable to have at least slight qualification concerns, as that seems more common with these prep school transfer situations than non-transfer situations. But, for all I know, Prime Prep has everything firmly in order, he's a great student, and there will not be any transcript-related sort of problems for him next year.

Off this specific topic, I get tired of this time of year when high majors start losing targets and swoop in to get guys that mid majors have spent considerable time and money pursuing. Until we build a consistent brand that is in the same class as Gonzaga, Butler and Xavier, and/or find a new conference (not likely, I know), we'll get beat every Fall for a guy or two who might really like Creighton, but wants more perceived status or exposure.

Then again, I really like our 2013 class and the two 2014 guys. And, they want to be Jays.

The Big East?? Really?? I think Buzz gave him a list of the Big East teams from a couple of years ago - certainly isn't what it used to be and is trending down, not to mention on the brink of destruction. When Dawson saw the bright lights of the "Big East," must have lost touch with reality.
