I'm impressed that Creighton is mentioned as an elite school along with Kentucky, Kansas, UCLA and Baylor.
With only 5 schools mentioned and him mentioning more visits, I give Creighton a decent chance if we can get him to visit Creighton and Omaha. Never give up.

Any extra exposure CU gets by being mentioned as a potential destination for big time talent is not a waste of time

The second ranked Center in the Class of 2022 was just directly quoted as saying he continues to talk to CU coaches and Creighton is still in it.

“Let’s give up.” suggests a person.

That’s some fourth-dimensional recruiting strategy.

He gets asked about Creighton and that’s all he has to say. Did you see what he said about the others? Come on.

Alan Huss was "in" on Bona before anyone knew who he was. Jays are still in it.
Time to double down and go for it! Jays holding a soft 12 - dbl down, baby...

You don't know the context. It is entirely possible that he was asked explicitly to explain his interest in those programs but asked something more generic for CU like "Is Creighton still recruiting you?" The fact that the answer is so different certainly makes me wonder about that.

Will he come here? Probably not - most teams miss on more recruits than they get. But there's no way to know at this point. And there is no shame in losing out to teams with more than 20 national titles, including the two teams from last year's national title game.

Jays never showed much interest here. I believe they wanted a combo guard who could play either guard spot so the focus was Ben, Issacs and Uzan. Pure off guards were not a priority. I think this kid is pretty good. Hope he goes to Drake.

Creighton is done recruiting guards for 2022. All focus is on Traudt and a couple bigs.

If you really double down with two aces, that reveals a lot about you, and none if it's good. Casinos must love you.

I don't gamble. I don't go to casinos. Was looking for effect? What's a combo for such a thing?
